15-year-old brought to hospital in Gostivar without vital signs, resuscitated and transferred to Skopje
A 15-year-old slipped down stairs in his family home in Gostivar; after resuscitation he was transferred to the Clinical Center "Mother Teresa" in Skopje.
At 12:00 the Gostivar Police Station received a report from the Emergency Medical Service that a 15-year-old boy had been brought to hospital without vital signs.
According to the report, the minor slipped and fell down a staircase inside his family home in Gostivar.
Upon arrival at the hospital medical staff performed resuscitation; following those efforts the boy again showed signs of life.
Transfer to Skopje and official steps
Because of the seriousness of his condition he was transported by ambulance to the Clinical Center "Mother Teresa" in Skopje, where doctors recorded severe bodily injuries.
A public prosecutor has been notified, an inspection of the scene was carried out, and the competent institutions are taking measures to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
