ALTA Bank AD Bitola to close all branches from Monday, November 2

ALTA Bank AD Bitola has announced that, starting Monday, November 2, it will temporarily close all of its branches for customer service until further notice.

The move further restricts clients' access to their own funds after the National Bank imposed temporary protective measures and a weekly limit of 10.000 denars on the use of payment cards by individuals.

Bank: preventive measure to protect clients

With branches closed, customers will no longer be able to visit bank offices to access their accounts in person; the card-use limit remains in effect. The bank said the steps are preventive and aimed at safeguarding clients' funds and interests.

ALTA Bank said it will provide timely updates through its official channels if there are any additional details or changes to the situation.

At this time, there is no information about when the branches will reopen.
