Stefan Andonovski in Seoul: equal access to AI for citizens and SMEs
At a World Bank conference in Seoul Andonovski warned that unequal AI access risks widening the gap between rich and less developed countries.

Digital Transformation Minister Stefan Andonovski is in Seoul, South Korea, participating in a global meeting on artificial intelligence and digitalization organized by the World Bank.
Speaking before representatives from around 70 countries, Andonovski outlined both opportunities offered by artificial intelligence and the risks and challenges linked to its use.
"We must not allow rich countries, the developed states, to have greater access to the AI space than smaller ones. As states we must invest to ensure every citizen, every small and medium business has equal access to AI-based tools, otherwise we risk the gap between developed and less developed countries widening instead of shrinking," Andonovski said.
