Skopje Appellate Court Acquits Bojan Jovanovski in 'International Union' Case
His lawyer Sasho Dukovski announced on social media that the court overturned the Basic Criminal Court's five-year sentence.

The Skopje Appellate Court has acquitted Bojan Jovanovski in the case known as the "International Union", the defendant's lawyer said on social media on 3 November 2026.
Lawyer Sasho Dukovski, who represented Jovanovski in the proceedings, posted an emphatic message announcing the ruling.
"Well, justice is slow but attainable! The Appellate Court in Skopje today delivered an acquittal for Bojan Jovanovski in the 'International Union' case. With that it overturned the first-instance verdict of the Basic Criminal Court of five years!! That's it. After a bad indictment follows an acquittal! That's it! Alright!" Dukovski wrote.
The ruling and its immediate effect
According to Dukovski's post, the appellate panel reversed the earlier sentence issued by the Basic Criminal Court, which had sentenced Jovanovski to five years imprisonment.
The lawyer's announcement was posted on social networks; Dukovski had been the defence counsel in the "International Union" case involving Bojan Jovanovski (also known publicly as "Boki 13").
