Debutants arrive first at North Macedonia national team camp
Debutants arrived about 30 minutes early as the 28-player squad convened on 21 September 2026.
21 September 2026 — The North Macedonia senior national team convened on Monday ahead of UEFA Nations League fixtures with Switzerland, Slovenia and Scotland, and the newcomers were the first to arrive at the camp.
Coach Goce Sedloski has named a 28-man squad for the upcoming matches. Several debutants reached the national team campus first, following the expected routine: they arrived roughly half an hour before the scheduled meeting.
Matej Gashtarov, Gjorgje Dzekov, Enes Melici and returning player Mario Mladenovski were already wearing the national kit on arrival and are preparing to make their first appearances for the North Macedonia A national team.
The early arrivals used the extra time to settle in with staff and teammates and to familiarise themselves with the training schedule set for the camp.
Other members of the squad are due to join later during the day, depending on their club commitments over the weekend and travel arrangements.
The gathering marks the start of preparations for the Nations League series, with Sedloski and his staff expected to finalise starting plans and rotations as training progresses.
