Dimitar Mitrovski returns to North Macedonia squad
Coach Goce Sedloski has called the Olimpija striker for matches against Switzerland, Slovenia and Scotland.
On 13.09.2026 the North Macedonia national team coach Goce Sedloski has recalled striker Dimitar Mitrovski to the senior squad for the upcoming international window and the start of the Nations League.
Mitrovski has enjoyed an excellent season with Slovenian side Olimpija, scoring regularly and forcing his way back into the national team picture through form and goals.
The player has received the call and is expected to join the coach’s first gathering ahead of matches against Switzerland, Slovenia and Scotland.
So far Mitrovski has made eight appearances for the North Macedonia senior team. Earlier in his career he served as a captain across youth levels, collecting over thirty appearances for the national youth sides.
The recall comes as Sedloski finalises his squad for the Nations League fixtures and the wider international programme in the coming weeks.
Mitrovski’s return adds another attacking option to the selection as the team prepares for competitive fixtures and the coach assesses players’ form from the club season.
