Miha Odzaklieski resigns as director of the Historical Museum — Kruševo

Miha Odzaklieski, director of the Public Institution Historical Museum — Kruševo, submitted an irrevocable resignation today, stating his decision was taken as a matter of personal responsibility.
Odzaklieski accompanied the resignation with a public statement: "The decision is a personal, moral and ethical act and an expression of responsibility to the institution and to the public."
Background
The resignation follows public uproar after a music video for the song "Seksi mama" by Kosovar rapper Don Dzhoni was filmed inside the Macedonium monument in Kruševo. The Macedonium is a state-protected cultural heritage site.
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski reacted to the case and said he would request the dismissal of the director of the Historical Museum in Kruševo and the members of the institution's board who allowed the monument to be rented for the shooting of a music video.
The move by Odzaklieski comes amid criticism over the decision to permit commercial filming inside a protected memorial; local residents and cultural observers had expressed concern after images and clips from the video surfaced online.
It was not immediately announced how authorities will process the resignation or whether any formal investigations into the rental and filming permissions will be opened.
