Two cars burned in yard of house in Star Karaorman
Blaze on August 6 destroyed two Volkswagen vehicles; police say no injuries.
Two passenger cars were destroyed by fire on August 6, 2026 in the yard of a house in the village of Star Karaorman, in the Shtip area, police said. No one was injured.
“On 06.08.2026 at 14:41 a report was filed with the Shtip Police Department that a fire broke out in the yard of a house in the village of Star Karaorman, Shtip, property of S.N.(49) from Shtip, and two of his passenger vehicles — 'Volkswagen Vento' and 'Volkswagen Golf', both with Shtip registration plates — caught fire. No injuries were reported, and the fire was extinguished by a crew from the Territorial Firefighting Unit Shtip. An inspection was carried out by a team from the Shtip Police Department,” the police statement says.
The owner is recorded in the police report as S.N.(49), a resident of Shtip. The two vehicles were described as passenger cars with Shtip licence plates.
The blaze was brought under control and put out by personnel from the Territorial Firefighting Unit — Shtip.
A team from the Shtip Police Department carried out an on-site inspection following the incident.
Authorities have not reported any injuries or further damage beyond the two burned cars; investigations by police teams remain focused on determining the circumstances of the fire.
