Two killed, three seriously injured in crash near Miladinovci
Head-on collision at about 2:00 a.m. on the Ilinden–Miladinovci road left two dead and three in critical condition.
Two people were killed and three others seriously injured in a head-on collision that occurred during the night on the Ilinden–Miladinovci road, near the Brest police base close to Skopje International Airport.
The crash happened at around 2:00 a.m. when an Opel Corsa driven by a 19-year-old from Kumanovo collided directly with a Hyundai i30 driven by a 51-year-old resident of Marino.
At the scene, the driver of the Hyundai and his 18-year-old son were declared dead. Their 18-year-old daughter suffered serious injuries.
Investigation and autopsy
The 19-year-old driver of the Corsa and his 18-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries and were transported to hospital in life‑threatening condition.
A public prosecutor, an expert and investigative teams from the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out an on-site inspection, and orders for autopsies on the deceased were issued. Authorities said the causes and circumstances of the collision are being determined.
