Two people triggered fire extinguishers in Kisela Voda casino; several taken to hospital

Two people caused a disturbance last night at a casino in the Kisela Voda area of Skopje, damaging property and setting off fire extinguishers, authorities said. Several guests and employees experienced breathing problems and were taken to the Clinical Center "Mother Teresa" for treatment.

Incident registered in the early morning hours

The incident was recorded by the Skopje Police Department at 02:35. According to the police report, the two individuals first upset other patrons; one of them threw a mobile phone at a woman but did not hit her.

After that, the pair began breaking items of the casino’s interior and triggered the venue’s fire extinguishers, scattering powder and affecting the air quality inside.

As a result of respiratory complaints, several people — both visitors and staff — were transported to the Clinical Center "Mother Teresa" for medical assistance.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that investigators are taking all necessary measures to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
