Daughter assaulted her mother in Ohrid; serious attack in Kuratica and three detained on boulevard
Three incidents in Ohrid area in one day: a domestic attack, a serious assault in Kuratica and detentions after a street quarrel.
Police in Ohrid registered three separate physical assaults within roughly 24 hours, one inside a family home, another in a village street that left a woman severely injured, and a third incident that led to several arrests in the city centre.
At 16:10 yesterday the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs received a report that P.T., from Ohrid, physically attacked her mother inside their family residence. Police said they will file an appropriate criminal complaint against P.T. after completing standard procedures.
Later the same evening, at 20:45, officers were notified of a disturbance in front of a business in the village of Kuratica. According to the report, G.A. assaulted D.J. (47), both residents of the same village; D.J. suffered serious bodily injuries and was registered for treatment at the General Hospital in Ohrid. Authorities said charges will be pressed against the attacker after the incident is fully documented.
Detentions on Boulevard "Macedonian Enlighteners"
In a separate response yesterday afternoon on Boulevard "Macedonian Enlighteners" in Ohrid, police detained three people identified as R.M. (27) from Kichevo, E.A. (46) from Strumica and M.D. (45) from Kavadarci. Officers said the three disrupted public order with a mutual quarrel and behaved aggressively toward police while they were performing official duties.
Police confirmed that, once documentation of that event is complete, an appropriate complaint will be filed against the detainees.
The incidents are recorded in the Ohrid police bulletin; investigations and formal actions are continuing.
