Klekovski to consult in Belgrade and Sofia on treatment of those injured in the Puls nightclub fire

Sasho Klekovski, Minister of Health, announced a new phase in the medical care for those wounded in the fire at the Puls nightclub in Kocani.

Planned consultations in Belgrade and Sofia

According to Klekovski, he will consult with health authorities in Belgrade and Sofia to define a detailed plan for the most complex surgeries and the subsequent course of treatment for the injured.

The minister said that the meetings in the two capitals are intended to coordinate specialist care and to clarify which procedures will be needed for patients who require surgical interventions and long-term follow-up.

Klekovski also announced that next week he will travel to Kocani to meet the injured in person and present the treatment plan directly to them.

The ministry has not published further medical details or a timetable for transfers and operations; Klekovski’s meetings in Belgrade and Sofia are presented as the next step toward finalizing that schedule.

Authorities say the consultations aim to ensure that patients receive the appropriate specialist interventions both inside and, where necessary, outside the country.
