Kriva Palanka pays 3,000 denars to each first‑grader — parents asked to check accounts

Parents of first-graders in Kriva Palanka should check their bank accounts: Kriva Palanka Municipality carried out a payment this morning of a one‑time cash grant amounting to 3,000 denars for each child starting first grade.

Payment made on City Day as support for back‑to‑school costs

The amount was transferred directly to parents' bank accounts as part of measures the municipality put in place to mark the City Day. The move is presented as practical support for families facing extra expenses at the start of the school year — supplies, backpacks, clothing and other necessities.

Municipal officials say the payment covers all first‑graders in the municipality and represents a concrete contribution to household budgets, even though it is a single, one‑time amount.

The mayor of Kriva Palanka extended congratulations to citizens on the occasion of the holiday and highlighted that care for children and support for families remain among the local administration's priorities.

Parents are advised to check the balances of their bank accounts to confirm receipt of the planned 3,000 denars.
