Filipovski twins dedicate album Majka to their mother Suzana
Stefan and Martin honoured their mother Suzana with the album "Majka" and shared family photos from their 40th birthday, ahead of a 27 November concert.
The woman at the centre of a new tribute from the Filipovski twins is their mother, Suzana Filipovska.
Stefan and Martin Filipovski, best known as the twin frontmen of the band Next Time, are popular figures on the Macedonian music scene and have repeatedly shown publicly how important family is to them — especially their mother.
A few years ago they released a major album of rearranged Macedonian folk songs titled "Majka" and publicly said that project was dedicated to two mothers: their mother Suzana and their homeland, Macedonia.
Family focus on the twins' 40th birthday
The strong family bond was on display again when Stefan and Martin marked their 40th birthday. Martin shared emotional photographs from a private home celebration showing three of the key women in his life: his wife, former handball player Andrea Beleska, their daughter Liana, and his mother Suzana.
Beyond the family snapshots and birthday cake, Martin used the occasion to invite fans to his big solo concert scheduled for 27 November at Boris Trajkovski Hall in Skopje.
The images and messages won warm reactions from followers, underscoring the close personal side of a duo usually seen on stage.
