Young athletes from North Macedonia won three silver and four bronze medals in Split at the first international Plazma Games final.

Macedonian young sporting hopes finished in grand style at the first international final of the Plazma Sports Games for Youth in Split, winning a total of seven medals — three silver and four bronze. Most of the successes came in disciplines where the country has shown consistent progress this season.
Debut season and anniversary in Split
This is the first season in which North Macedonia participated in the international final tournament of the Plazma Sports Games for Youth together with Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event was held in the city that at the same time marked an anniversary — SIM celebrates 30 years of its existence, and Split was filled with sporting activities, socializing and an atmosphere of fair play.
The first excellent result for North Macedonia was achieved by Naum Naskovski from Kumanovo, who climbed onto the podium with a bronze medal in the 60 metres race in the 2015 category. In athletics, the young athletes left a strong impression and confirmed that the country has young talents with international potential.
The "Roling" team from Strumica won bronze in 3x3 basketball, showing dynamic play and attractive moves that kept the audience's attention. Basketball was one of the disciplines where sportsmanship and fair play stood out.
In chess North Macedonia recorded serious results: Ilijana Veleva from Sveti Nikole and David Atanasovski from Gazi Baba won silver medals in their competitions. In table tennis, Jovan Parmachki from Berovo took silver, while bronze places were won by Martin Ristevski from Prilep and Bojana Jovevska from Pehchevo.
The tennis field, alongside the sporting competitions, also carried moments of sports education — Tomi Jakimovski received recognition for fair play at the tennis tournament. With a total of seven medals, the North Macedonian delegation concluded its first international season at the Plazma Sports Games for Youth with a positive balance and strong indications of future successes.
