Macedonium in Kruševo rented for Don Dzhoni music video for around €500
The Historical Museum approved the rental and says the monument was used for some scenes; the cultural heritage authority says it received no request.
On 29 September 2026 the Macedonium monument in Kruševo was rented for the filming of a music video by Kosovo rapper Don Dzhoni, with the museum charging about 500 euros for the use of the space, museum officials say.

Miha Odzhaklieski, director of the Historical Museum in Kruševo, said the production formally requested permission and that the museum’s Management Board approved making the site available.
"The space was made available for the shooting of a video. At the Management Board we have adopted a decision that the space can be made available for an appropriate fee. They submitted an explanation that they would use it to shoot a video. We do not have a fixed set price, rather it is charged by the hour. For example, for five to six hours the amount is around 500 euros," Odzhaklieski said.
Odzhaklieski added that the video clip was recorded at several locations and that the scenes showing beds and dancing were not filmed inside Macedonium; only some sequences were produced at the monument.
Vesela Chestoeva, director of the Administration for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, told reporters that her office did not receive any request to permit filming inside Macedonium. She noted that the administration frequently gets applications to film in protected heritage sites and issues permits when the content and purpose align with promoting and safeguarding Macedonian culture, art and heritage.
