S. J. (62) found dead in Gjorče Petrov home, traces of violence reported
S. J. (62) was found dead at his home in Gjorče Petrov on 22.10.2026; an autopsy has been ordered to determine cause of death.
On 22.10.2026 at 18:40 the Skopje Police Department (SVR Skopje) received a report that a man had been found dead in his home in the municipality of Gjorče Petrov in Skopje. The victim was identified by initials as S. J. (62).
An emergency medical doctor who attended the scene pronounced the death and recorded that the body showed traces of violence.
Investigation under way
Police carried out an on-site inspection. By order of the public prosecutor, the deceased’s body was handed over for an autopsy to determine the cause and circumstances of death.
Authorities said they are taking measures to clarify the case and continue investigative actions. No further details about possible suspects or motives have been released so far.
