Mickoski: Negotiations for new Clinical Center near Boris Trajkovski to end by year‑end
Negotiations focus on two parcels by the Boris Trajkovski pool; authorities plan parking and traffic measures as the site is linked with existing health facilities.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said he expects negotiations over the site for a new Clinical Center in Skopje — near the Boris Trajkovski sports complex — to be completed by the end of the year. He spoke during the presentation of 100 new ambulance vehicles held in the parking lot beside the Boris Trajkovski hall.
At the event, Mickoski said the authorities are considering two parcels for the project: one in front of the pool, which had been left to the ravages of time and is now being reconstructed, and the other behind the water slide. “Those are the two parcels where the new Clinical Center should be located. I expect that by the end of this year we will finish those negotiations,” he said.
The selected location is intended to be linked with the existing 8 September Hospital, the PET center and the Bucharest Polyclinic to form an integrated health complex, Mickoski added.
Parking and traffic measures
Municipality of Karposh is cooperating with the Government to secure additional parking spaces, aiming to reduce traffic congestion that could arise once the complex is built and becomes operational. “Therefore, we plan already now to ease that part of the challenges that the residents of this part of the city will face,” Mickoski said.
Officials have not announced a final construction timeline or contractor, but the government’s immediate steps focus on land negotiations and local infrastructure adjustments around the Boris Trajkovski area.
The ambulance handover, attended by government representatives, highlighted parallel investments in emergency services as planners advance discussions on the new Clinical Center site.
