Mickoski: GDP rose by 120 million euros during two years of VMRO‑DPMNE rule
The prime minister told reporters before an Ambassadorial Council meeting that the country has climbed from the bottom to first or second place in regional GDP growth.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said that, after two years of VMRO‑DPMNE rule, the country's gross domestic product rose by 120 million euros.
Answering reporters before a meeting of the Ambassadorial Council, Mickoski contrasted the current growth figures with the situation three years ago and offered an assessment of North Macedonia's regional standing.
"Three years ago we were at the bottom"
"Three years ago we were at the bottom of the region, and now we are already in first or second place by GDP growth," Mickoski said, repeating his claim about the shift in ranking.
The prime minister did not provide a detailed breakdown in that brief exchange with journalists, limiting his remarks to the overall increase of 120 million euros and the comparative statement on regional growth.
The comments came immediately before the Ambassadorial Council meeting; further data or official government reports were not cited in his remarks to the press.
