Ministry: average time for electronic issuance of personal documents is five minutes
Ministry of Digital Transformation reports 1,029 requests and 2,136 extracts in the past 30 days; delays usually from incomplete documentation.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation says the average time to issue personal documents electronically is five minutes.
Monthly figures and types of requests
Over the past 30 days the ministry reports a total of 1,029 requests for certificates of no criminal record: 1,017 from natural persons and 12 from legal entities.
In the same period the ministry issued a total of 2,136 extracts, broken down as follows:
- Births: 1,496
- Marriages: 294
- Deaths: 77
- International birth extract: 201
- International marriage extract: 68
The ministry responded to a complaint from a student who said she waited several days for an extract required for enrolling abroad, noting that each request is reviewed individually and that in such cases the delay is most often due to incomplete documentation.
The ministry emphasized the electronic service’s short average processing time while stressing that individual circumstances and missing paperwork can extend the time before an extract is issued.
