Venko Filipche: Razgovori platform is serving the government and trying to split SDSM
Filipche says the platform seeks to divide SDSM and accused its members of acting as a distraction and serving the interests of the authorities.

Venko Filipche, leader of SDSM, accused members of the platform "Razgovori za idninata 12:05" of working on behalf of the government and of trying to split the Social Democratic Union during a press conference.
Filipche said the platform had been invited to talks but that its intent was not to negotiate inside the party. He framed the group's moves as a deliberate attempt to distract from political developments and to benefit the opposition leader Hristijan Mickoski.
Filipche's statement
Addressing reporters, Filipche said: "That platform was invited and still is, if they want to come to talk. But that is not their intention, because when you intend to talk, you will come to talk; when you intend to split SDSM, you will do that and they are doing that. They owe to Hristijan Mickoski. They came here to create a distraction on the day when von der Leyen came to the country and told Hristijan Mickoski directly to his face that identity and language are protected. With that his biggest lie of the past several years fell apart. He needed someone to make a distraction. What a shameful act for such a traitor."
Filipche added another direct rebuke: "How miserable do those people have to be to work for such a treasonous agenda? It will not pass, absolutely. They are all bought by the government and are working for its interests."
The comments came after early parliamentary elections in Serbia, in which the Student List achieved a decisive victory. Members of "Razgovori za idninata 12:05" said the Serbian result underlined their argument that without genuine unification of the entire opposition and progressive, democratic public, it is nearly impossible to defeat right-wing populist governments in the Balkans.
