Bregalnica asks federation to reschedule match with FK Skopje

FK Bregalnica has asked the Football Federation of North Macedonia to move its scheduled First Macedonian Football League match against FK Skopje because a large local festival will take place on the same day at the Shtip city stadium.

The fixture was originally set for 19 September as part of round 8 of the domestic league, but club officials say the stadium will host the annual "Pastrmalijada" on that date and the two events overlap.

Decision lies with the federation

In a formal request sent to the Football Federation of North Macedonia, FK Bregalnica asked that the match be postponed or that a new date be found to avoid the conflict. The club framed the petition as a need to ensure stadium availability and the smooth running of both activities.

The Football Federation of North Macedonia will now review the petition and determine whether the game can be rescheduled. Any change of date falls under the federation's authority.

Supporters and local organisers are awaiting an official response, which the federation is expected to issue in the coming days.
