Ohrid Lake level at 693.15 m — 14 cm below November average
Agency data show the lake at 693.15 m a.s.l., 14 cm under the November mean and 5 cm above the natural minimum.
The National Hydrometeorological Service reports that Ohrid Lake's water level today stands at 693.15 meters above sea level (m a.s.l.).
That reading is 0.14 m (14 centimetres) below the November average of 693.29 m, the Service said. At the same time the lake remains 0.05 m (5 centimetres) above the established natural minimum of 693.10 m a.s.l.
Measurements and context
The figures were published by the National Hydrometeorological Service as part of its routine monitoring of lake and river levels. The agency provides regular updates from measurement stations around the country.
According to the posted data, the current level — while below the monthly average — remains above the allowed natural minimum set for Ohrid Lake.
Local authorities and water managers use these measurements to follow seasonal fluctuations and to inform any needed operational measures for water use and environmental protection.
