Pezeshkian: Now is the best time to reach an agreement
President Pezeshkian said Tehran will not accept demands unless negotiations show progress.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said today that the current circumstances offer the best opportunity to reach an agreement with the other side and to resolve outstanding issues through negotiations.
"I believe that now is the best time to reach an agreement, because there is cohesion, strength and unity in the country," said Pezeshkian.
He added that these conditions could present an opening to continue the process of securing an agreement and to address remaining matters through talks.
Pezeshkian also warned that Tehran will not accept the other side's demands unless there is concrete progress in the negotiations.
The remarks outline the president's expectations for the next phase of talks and underscore the conditions Tehran considers necessary before accepting any proposals.
