Family seeks €280,000 to send police officer Stefan Petrushevski to rehabilitation in Germany
Family appeals for €280,000 after four months in intensive care; donation channels opened and details to follow next week.

Published on November 4, 2026. The family of 32‑year‑old police officer Stefan Petrushevski has launched an appeal to raise 280,000 euros for specialised rehabilitation in Germany after he survived a serious accident.
Petrushevski has spent four months at the Clinic for Intensive Care and Resuscitation following severe injuries. His sister, Gabriela Ljubovska, says his condition is improving despite initially unfavourable prognoses, but that he requires treatment that local centres cannot provide.
How the family is organising help
According to the family appeal, a German clinic quoted a fee of 280,000 euros for the required programme. The Health Insurance Fund will not cover these costs, the family says, and they cannot raise the sum on their own.
At home are Petrushevski’s wife and their one‑year‑old son, Aleksej. Ljubovska urged citizens to contribute according to their abilities, expressing hope that collective support will allow her brother to travel for rehabilitation and return to his family.
Donation accounts have been opened in Macedonian denars and euros. Telephone donation lines and options to give through humanitarian platforms have been announced; full details are expected next week.
