Fire in Bigla sparked by resident burning tires; blaze in Bonche localized
DZS teams and director Angelov were sent to Bigla after a resident burned tires; volunteer firefighters localized a separate blaze in Bonche.

A new fire broke out in the village of Bigla, in the Delchevo area, after a resident burned tires inside the settlement. Teams from DZS, accompanied by director Angelov, were dispatched to the village to fight the flames.
Volunteer crews contain second blaze
At the same time, volunteer firefighters led a determined effort against a fire in the surroundings of the village of Bonche, in the Prilep area. That fire was reported as localized after the intervention.
Authorities reported that the incident in Bigla was caused by a local resident who set tires alight inside the village, triggering a new outbreak. DZS teams mobilized quickly and proceeded toward the location with Director Angelov.
The operation in Bonche was carried out chiefly by volunteer firefighting units who engaged the fire in the village’s lands. Their response brought the situation under control and the fire was localized.
Local officials have emphasized the risks of burning waste and tyres in or near settlements, noting such actions can ignite wildfires and endanger property and lives.
