Body of hiker found on Šar Mountain flown to Tetovo by helicopter
Tetovo police confirmed the body was discovered above 2,500 metres after a citizen report; more details expected tomorrow.

Around 17:30 a body discovered on Šar Mountain was airlifted to Tetovo by helicopter after being found above 2,500 metres above sea level.
Tetovo Police (SVR Tetovo) confirmed that a body was located on Šar Mountain following a citizen report received at about 14:30. Authorities said they will release additional details tomorrow.
According to unofficial information, the deceased is a mountaineer-alpinist, approximately 70 years old, from Džepčište in the Tetovo area.
Local emergency teams coordinated the transport to Tetovo by helicopter in the late afternoon; formal identification and the cause of death have not yet been announced.
Investigators and police remain at the scene and said they will provide more information once preliminary procedures and identification are completed.
