Three arrested after automatic‑rifle shooting at a house in Selce, Tetovo
Police detained three people after a shooting with an automatic rifle at a house in Selce; searches uncovered ammunition and equipment.

Three people have been detained in connection with an automatic-rifle shooting at a family home in the village of Selce near Tetovo on 8 August, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
According to the police timeline, at about 04:20 on 8 August a man riding a moped fired multiple rounds from an automatic rifle at the house of 48-year-old Sh. B., and then fled the scene.
Arrests and searches on 10 August
On 10 August at 14:45, a 34-year-old suspect identified as A. Dž. from the same village was arrested on the Tetovo–Selce road on suspicion of causing public danger. Later that evening, between 20:00 and 22:55, police with a court warrant searched the home of D. S. (44) in Tetovo.
The search yielded 66 rounds of hunting ammunition, caliber 12 millimetres, two helmets, two surveillance cameras and a memory card, police reported. A 58-year-old woman, F. S., was detained on suspicion of aiding and of unauthorised manufacture, possession and trafficking of weapons.
At 23:40 on the same day another suspect, F. S. (31), presented himself at a police station and was also taken into custody. All three detainees remain held at a local police station.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that after the case is fully documented appropriate charges will be filed against the suspects.
