Repair of pedestrian guardrail on Bliznak bridge scheduled for October 11
Work by Public Enterprise "Streets and Roads" – Skopje from 6:00–8:00 AM; leftmost lane closed toward Aerodrom.
Repair work on a damaged pedestrian guardrail on the Bliznak bridge, which runs along Kiro Gligorov Boulevard and separates the Aerodrom and Gazi Baba municipalities in Skopje, is scheduled for Sunday, October 11.
Traffic details
The Public Enterprise "Streets and Roads" – Skopje has announced that crews will work between 6:00 and 8:00 AM on the section from the intersection with Industriska Street to the junction with ASNOM Boulevard in the direction toward the Aerodrom neighbourhood.
During the repairs the far-left traffic lane will be closed and marked with appropriate traffic signage to redirect road users. The other lane in the same direction will remain open to allow traffic to continue.
Drivers are asked to be patient until the work is completed and to adjust their speed according to road conditions.
The early-morning schedule is intended to minimise disruption, but motorists using Kiro Gligorov Boulevard in the specified direction should expect a temporary narrowing of the roadway on the morning of October 11.
