Assembly adopts amendments to laws on managers, public sector pay and forests
MPs approved changes to laws on managers, public-sector employees, salaries for elected officials and forests, then the session was suspended.

With a majority of votes "for", MPs at today's 125th session of the Assembly adopted amendments to the Law on High-Ranking Managers and to the Law on Employees in the Public Sector.
During the same sitting the majority also approved changes to the Law on Salaries and Other Allowances of Elected and Appointed Persons and to the Law on Forests.
Session suspended; remaining items left for later
Because there were no procedural possibilities to continue with the remaining items on the agenda, Assembly Vice President Vesna Bendevska suspended the session. She announced that members will be notified later about a date for continuation.
On the agenda of the 125th Assembly session were draft amendments to the Law on Administrative Officials and to the Law on Foreign Affairs, as well as a proposed National Programme for Higher Education with recommended measures for 2025–2030 and a proposed National Programme for Scientific Research Activity with measures for 2025–2030.
The Assembly's decisions mean legal changes in several areas of public administration, pay and natural resources management; debate on the remaining institutional and program documents will resume at a later sitting.
