Skopje police sanctioned a 22-year-old after officers responded to a report of littering in the Shuto Orizari neighbourhood, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said. The measure was taken following an incident on Hadzi Jovan Shishko Street.
Police from the Shuto Orizari Police Station, operating within the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs (SVR Skopje), acted on the prior complaint and identified the person involved during on-site checks.
Sanction and legal basis
The individual was identified as E.A., 22, from Skopje. A paid misdemeanor order was issued to E.A. under the Law on Public Cleanliness, the ministry reported.
The action took place on 18 September 2026 and was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs on 19 September 2026 at 16:13. Authorities say the sanction follows routine procedures after a received complaint about waste being thrown on a public street.
