Serious crash in Aerodrom, three injured; motorcyclist badly hurt
The collision happened on 23 August 2026 at about 20:10 at the intersection of ASNOM Boulevard and the service roads leading to the Hilton Hotel; an SVR Skopje team carried out the inspection.

Three people were injured in a serious traffic collision on the evening of 23 August 2026 in the Aerodrom neighbourhood of Skopje, police reported; one of the injured is said to have sustained serious injuries.
"On 23.08.2026 at around 20:10 the Skopje Police Department (SVR Skopje) received a report that at the intersection of ASNOM Boulevard and the service roads leading to the Hilton Hotel in Skopje a traffic accident occurred between a passenger vehicle 'Peugeot' with Skopje registration plates, driven by 43-year-old V.M. from Skopje, a motorcycle 'Honda' with Skopje registration plates driven by D.M. (26) from Skopje, and a passenger vehicle 'Fiat Punto' with Skopje registration plates driven by A.B. (40) from the village of Ljubin, Skopje municipality. In the accident the motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, while the driver of the 'Peugeot' V.M. and the passenger from the 'Fiat' I.C. (38) from Skopje sustained bodily injuries, documented at the Public Health Institution "Sv. Naum Ohridski" and at the Emergency Center at the Clinical Hospital 'Mother Teresa' in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by a team from SVR Skopje." the police bulletin says.
The vehicles involved were identified as a Peugeot passenger car, a Honda motorcycle and a Fiat Punto. The drivers and passengers are recorded in the police report by initials and ages: V.M. (43) — driver of the Peugeot, D.M. (26) — rider of the Honda, A.B. (40) — driver of the Fiat Punto, and I.C. (38) — passenger in the Fiat.
According to the police account, the motorcyclist suffered the most serious injuries. The other two injured — the Peugeot driver V.M. and the Fiat passenger I.C. — received medical attention and their injuries were documented at the stated medical institutions in Skopje.
An investigation and on-site inspection were carried out by a team from SVR Skopje. Authorities have not released further details about the cause of the collision or the current condition of the injured beyond the information in the police bulletin.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. Anyone with information or possible video footage from the area at the time of the accident has been asked to contact the Skopje Police Department.
