Teenagers from Brvenica charged after assault in Tetovo
Two 18‑year‑olds face criminal complaint after a 23‑year‑old woman was injured in Tetovo on 12.04.2026.

Two 18-year-old men from the village of Brvenica, in the Tetovo region, have been charged after an assault in the city of Tetovo that left a 23-year-old woman injured, the police reported.
Police filed a criminal complaint
“SVR Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against A.J.(18) and N.P.(18), both from the village of Brvenica, Tetovo, on grounds of suspicion of committing the criminal offence ‘violence’. On 12.04.2026 in Tetovo, the accused physically attacked 23-year-old P.T. from the village of Tudence, Jegunovce municipality, inflicting injuries,” reads the police bulletin.
The Ministry of Interior said the two suspects will face criminal proceedings after the Regional Police Directorate in Tetovo submitted the complaint to the competent authorities.
The injured woman, identified by initials P.T., is from the village of Tudence in the Jegunovce municipality. Police statements indicate she suffered physical injuries during the incident on 12.04.2026; authorities did not publish details on the extent of the wounds.
Both accused are 18 years old and come from the same village, Brvenica. The police reported the case under the criminal offence of "violence" and initiated the standard investigative and prosecutorial procedures.
Investigators in Tetovo continue to gather evidence and the file has been forwarded to the public prosecutor, who will decide on further steps in the prosecution process.
