Clear and cold mornings, sunny and relatively warm by day
UHMR forecasts clear, cold mornings until Wednesday; clouds and local rain possible from Thursday with rising morning temperatures.
Expect a clear and cold start to the day followed by sunny, relatively warm conditions across North Macedonia. A weak north wind will blow in many areas.
Minimum temperatures are forecast in a broad range from -3 to 8 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius.
In Skopje the sky will be sunny and the day relatively warm, with a light north wind. The minimum is expected to fall to 3°C and the maximum should reach 26°C.
Short-term outlook
The Hydrometeorological Service (UHMR) says that for the next few days mornings will remain clear and cold, and daytime hours will generally be sunny and mild. From Thursday cloud cover is expected to increase with a chance of local rain, and morning temperatures are likely to rise.
Overall, people should prepare for crisp mornings but enjoy pleasant daytime temperatures, especially in inland lowlands where the highest values are most likely.
