VMRO‑DPMNE asks whether ex‑intelligence director Musliu and Pendarovski jointly invest in Vlae building
Party spokesperson Valentin Manasievski demanded public clarification about ownership, financing and a 620,000€ 2024 grant linked to the investor.

VMRO-DPMNE has accused the spouse of the former director of the Agency for Intelligence of being the investor behind a residential building under construction in the Vlae neighbourhood of Skopje and demanded public answers about the project's funding and ownership.
Speaking today in front of the construction site, party spokesperson Valentin Manasievski listed a series of questions he says the public deserves answered. "This raises the question the public deserves answers to: how does one reach the status of investor in a residential building on an administrative salary? Where did the money for this investment come from? Can Musliu's family income justify the value of such a construction project? Are there other financial partners behind this investment?" he asked.
Manasievski named Erold Musliu — who was appointed director of the Agency for Intelligence in 2019 by then‑President Stevo Pendarovski — and said VMRO-DPMNE wants clarification whether the former president and Musliu have business ties in addition to their political and institutional relationship.
He also asked whether Pendarovski has any financial or business connection to the Vlae investment, and repeated an earlier claim about a grant awarded in 2024. "I would also like to remind the public that in 2024 precisely Afrodita Musliu, the wife of Erold Musliu, received a grant of 620,000 euros from the then SDSM government, which concluded a memorandum with a consortium of NGOs whose founder is precisely the wife of Erold Musliu," Manasievski said.
In addition to raising financial questions about the building, Manasievski publicly criticised the leadership of SDSM, singling out party leader Venko Filipche and accusing the party of hypocrisy while labelling VMRO-DPMNE an "organised criminal group".
VMRO-DPMNE said Musliu and Pendarovski should provide clear answers on whether they are partners in the construction of the specific residential project in Vlae and how, on an administrative salary, one could finance a building that requires investments running into millions.
