Tetovo man surrenders after alleged domestic assault
A 42-year-old woman reported the assault on October 19; her 37-year-old husband turned himself in and was detained.
A 42-year-old woman from Tetovo reported that she was physically assaulted by her husband in their family home after an argument on October 19 at about 20:00, police said.
The woman filed the complaint with the Tetovo Police Department (SVR Tetovo) the same night at 23:20.
Suspect turned himself in
Several hours after the report, the woman's 37-year-old husband went to the police station and surrendered. He was detained by officers pending further action.
The police added that "After the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will follow."
Authorities have not released additional personal details. The investigation remains ongoing as investigators collect evidence and prepare the formal case file.
