Weather today in North Macedonia: Sunny, afternoon storms possible, up to 29 °C

Weather today across North Macedonia will be predominantly sunny with only small to moderate cloud cover. During the afternoon localized showers are expected in places, accompanied by strengthening winds, and some areas may experience unstable conditions in the form of storms with heavy downpours, thunder and hail.

During the daytime a light to moderate northerly breeze will prevail. Morning temperatures are forecast in the range 8–16 °C, while daytime highs will reach between 19 and 29 °C.

Skopje

In Skopje the sky will be mostly clear with little to moderate cloudiness. Parts of the basin may see instability this afternoon with heavy rain and thunder. A light to moderate northerly wind is expected, with minimum temperature falling to 14 °C and maximum up to 24 °C.

Forecasters warn that tomorrow afternoon showers and gusty winds are likely, and there will be conditions for instability in the form of storms with heavy rain, thunder and hail. Tomorrow the wind will be light to moderate from the northwest, while from Wednesday it will shift to a southeasterly direction.

The Hydrometeorological Service (UHMR) says that through the end of the working week mostly sunny conditions with little to moderate cloudiness will prevail.
