Zelenskyy: Ukraine struck Russian rocket and space centre in Samara

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian forces struck a Russian rocket and space centre in Samara, and also hit a military airfield that had been used as a base for Russian combat aircraft.
In a post on Telegram Zelenskyy added that Ukrainian units carried out a successful attack on a Russian oil facility at the Baltic port of Ust-Luga, where material damage was reported.
Local officials confirm strikes but give few details
Local authorities in Samara reported that Ukraine had attacked industrial infrastructure in Samara Oblast in southwestern Russia. Ivan Nosov, the mayor of Samara, said that air defenses had repelled "a massive attack," and that industrial sites suffered limited damage, without revealing details about the exact location that was hit.
Samara Oblast has previously been targeted by Ukrainian drone strikes, notably against the oil refinery in Syzran, as part of Kyiv's campaign to target Russian energy and military infrastructure.
Officials so far have not released verification from independent sources about the specific facilities hit, and details remain scarce as local authorities limit the information they provide.
