Jelena Karleuša tells Duško Tošić to buy condoms after Podgorica concert

Jelena Karleuša closed a show in Podgorica in front of more than a thousand fans who sang along to her biggest hits, but it was her blunt comments off-stage that again captured public attention.

Asked about paparazzi photos showing her ex-husband Duško Tošić buying something late at a kiosk, Karleuša responded with a provocative remark. She said: "I think he's buying snus, but even better if he's buying some condoms — I would recommend that to him."

Sharp words and a public image

Karleuša did not stop there. Speaking about how she views family arrangements and what she expects at a planned family gathering, she said: "Honestly, I wish him luck. Let him just come on Sunday so we can be together as a family, so everything goes as it should for Atina and Nika; after that, what he does, what he buys and with whom, I leave that to him — I believe in his bad taste."

When a reporter asked how she would distribute roles in her so-called "court" of estrade colleagues — with a direct reference to fellow singer Ceca Ražnatović — Karleuša replied with a mix of irony and self-assertion: "I have been the queen of the pop scene for 31 years, I changed everything that needed changing... There are plenty of open positions here — a gardener, a parking attendant, and the court fools are also always for hire. Those are well-paid positions in my kingdom."

Meanwhile, Duško Tošić has been in Marbella, Spain, attending a glamorous wedding that he shared on social media. Photos from the celebration included well-known faces such as model Mina Milutinović with her husband, basketball player Nemanja Nedović, and Mirjana Rutović.

The trip to Marbella comes shortly before a large family celebration in Belgrade: Karleuša and Tošić are preparing a big party for their daughters, as their older daughter Atina will soon turn 18 and younger daughter Nika also has a birthday around the same time.
