Klekovski personally hands employment decisions to 109 contract workers at Clinical Hospital Tetovo
The ministry says the latest decisions raise total hospital staff in Tetovo to 145 and are part of national projects to hire 1,500 contract workers and 600 medical residents.

Minister Sasho Klekovski personally handed employment decisions today to 109 people at Clinical Hospital Tetovo who until now had been engaged under contracts for services, the Ministry of Health announced on Facebook.
According to the ministry's statement, together with decisions that were delivered in previous months, a total of 145 people from various medical professions are now employed at the hospital — staff the institution says are necessary for its proper functioning.
Addressing the newly employed personnel, the minister said: "I congratulate you all and I wish you successful work, professional achievements and much dedication in caring for patients. Your work is of great importance for our health."
The ministry framed the move as part of a broader employment drive: "With this we complete the project for the employment of 1,500 long-term contract workers, and the project for hiring 600 medical residents will soon be completed," the announcement notes.
The action prompted reactions on social media. Citizens pointed out that many of those employed had waited more than ten years for a permanent decision while hospitals across the country face staff shortages.
Several users also asked what will happen to other contract workers employed under similar arrangements in hospitals in Prilep and Bitola, a question that remains raised in online discussions following the Tetovo announcement.
