Trial of Haris Kachapor postponed in death of former OHIS director Jorgo Kuka
Hearing delayed because a lay judge was on sick leave; the trial will continue on 12 November.

The hearing in the criminal case against Haris Kachapor, accused of fatally running over former OHIS director Jorgo Kuka at a pedestrian crossing, was postponed today because a lay judge was on sick leave.
The proceedings are scheduled to resume on 12 November.
Details of the collision
Kachapor faces charges of serious offences against the safety of people and property in traffic. According to the prosecution, on 3 November last year he was driving at 62 km/h and, on Goce Delchev Boulevard at the junction with Lazar Lichenoski, the front of his vehicle struck Kuka's bicycle; Kuka died at the scene.
At an earlier hearing, Kachapor pleaded not guilty. The defence argued there was no intent.
The court's announcement gave the absence of the lay judge as the reason for the postponement; no further procedural changes were reported.
