Umbrellas and sunbeds on Bulgaria’s Black Sea: what you will pay in 2026
Interactive map from the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism shows seaside fees ranging from about €1.53 to €20 depending on beach and package.

Tourists heading this year to Bulgaria’s Black Sea resorts should add beach rental costs to their holiday budgets: prices for an umbrella and two sunbeds vary widely between beaches, from as little as €1.53 up to €15.30 for a basic umbrella-and-two-sunbeds package, while some ready-made sets with extra equipment reach €20.
Examples of published prices by beach
The figures come from an interactive map maintained by the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism, which records prices established during inspections at the start of the 2026 summer season; the ministry updates the map after each inspection, so listed prices can change.
At Primorsko – Central the umbrella costs €0.51 and a single sunbed €0.51, meaning one umbrella plus two sunbeds totals €1.53. At Burgas – North the unit price is €0.60 for both umbrella and sunbed, so a set of one umbrella and two sunbeds costs €1.80.
On Butamjata both umbrella and sunbed are €2.80 each, making a standard set (one umbrella and two sunbeds) €8.40. At Kiten – Atliman the unit price is €3.60, so an umbrella with two sunbeds comes to €10.80. Pomorie – East lists each beach item at €3.58, yielding €10.74 for the same basic combination.
Sozopol – Central shows umbrella and sunbed at €3.58 apiece and also offers a ready set for €13 that includes an umbrella, two sunbeds and a table. At Nessebar – South and Ravda – Olimpiski Nadezhi the unit price is €4.09, making the umbrella-plus-two-sunbeds package €12.27. Sunny Beach – South is among the pricier locations, with umbrellas and sunbeds at €5.10 each, so the three-item set costs €15.30.
Some beaches list higher prices for ready-made packages. For example, at Ravda – Central the umbrella and sunbed are €5 each, but a ready set is €20 and includes one umbrella, two sunbeds, two cushions and a table. On the Delfin beach and parts of the Ravda area individual items reach €5 each (a basic set would therefore cost €15). At Sozopol – Harmanite the single-item price is €4 while a set with umbrella, two sunbeds and a table is €15. The ministry warns that when comparing offers tourists should check whether a quoted number refers to a single item or to a complete set and what the set contains.
Visitors who want to save can use the free zone on beaches and bring their own equipment; hiring is not mandatory. According to the ministry’s interactive map, the prices above were published at the end of July 2026, but they may be updated after subsequent inspections, so travellers are advised to verify costs shortly before their visit.
