Injured boy in Turkey will be transported to Macedonia by government plane
The flight will be organized in coordination with health institutions and after prior permission from Turkish health authorities.
A boy from Macedonia who suffered serious injuries in Turkey will be returned to the country on the government plane, confirmed by the Service for General and Common Affairs (SOZR) and by the Ministry of Health.
As reported, he fell from a slide and has a fractured cervical vertebra; he is currently hospitalized in Turkey and, due to the seriousness of his injuries, cannot travel by a commercial flight or by vehicle.
The boy's parents requested assistance from Macedonian institutions for his safe return to the country. "Today the final preparations are being made for the flight which is to be carried out tomorrow," the institutions said.
Coordination and permits
SOZR reports that the flight will be carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Health Fund, after prior permission from the health authorities in Turkey that the patient can be transported with this plane.
The institutions state that the transfer will be conducted once all necessary medical and logistical conditions have been obtained from the Turkish health services.
