Renovated Clinic of Neurophysiology building opened at the Clinical Center

The renovated building of the Clinic of Neurophysiology at the Clinical Center has been opened for use after an internal overhaul covering 891 square metres. Officials said the next stage of work will address the roof and the façade.

Interior work completed; exterior renovation follows

Clinic management described the project as a transformation of a previously neglected part of the hospital into a functional medical facility, with improvements aimed at both staff working conditions and patient comfort.

"From a blind alley of the Clinical Center, this building has become a functional building. The interior of the Clinic has been completely renovated, and in the next phase the roof and façade will be reconstructed. From an abandoned building we get a functional environment, more pleasant for the work of medical staff, but most importantly, for patients. We worked hard besides spatial conditions to improve also the capacity of the doctors and other staff," said the director of the Clinic, Jovan Bozhinovski.

As part of the upgrade, authorities secured 38 financial consents for hiring new personnel; 25 of those positions have already been filled.

Clinic officials say the rehabilitation converts 891 m² of previously unused area into operational space and will continue with exterior works to complete the project.
